Watching the World Change Requires a Little Slowness

When everything accelerates, observation and judgment need a slower place to stand.

Technology makes many things faster. Information moves faster, collaboration moves faster, learning moves faster, and even the distance from idea to prototype keeps shrinking.

But speed does not automatically create understanding. I often need a slower space after the fast part: rereading the material, taking a walk, writing down the first intuition, then checking whether I was actually thinking or just being carried by novelty.

I care about frontier technology, but I also care about what happens when it reaches ordinary life. People gain new freedoms and new dependencies at the same time. Work gets reorganized. Creation gets amplified. Judgment still has to be carried by someone.

This blog will include technical notes, but also observations about life and the world. They may not always look like the same kind of writing, but for me they point to one question: how do we create and live more clearly while everything is changing?
